| In light of widespread flooding reports in the area, all afterschool athletics and activities for today, Tuesday, January 9, 2024, are canceled. This includes all activities that meet after school, including: - Athletics (all games and practices) - After School Enrichment sessions - Clubs and meetings - Rehearsals and practices Unless conditions change dramatically, dismissal will proceed as scheduled, and there will be no impact on classes that fall within the school day. We kindly request that parents pick up their students immediately after school. If your student is typically enrolled in After School Care or MS Homework Help, we ask that you pick up your student as soon as possible after the school day ends today. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from picking your child(ren) up early, please contact Jacquelyn Nasti at jnasti@carolinaday.org. We will make necessary arrangements to ensure your child is taken care of until you are able to safely arrive. We will continue monitoring weather conditions for any impacts to tomorrow's school schedule. No decision about Wednesday, January 10th has been made at this time.
